Slow and steady the women moved with ease over the terrain. It had been a dark and dreary day to begin with so when the fog began to surround her it didn't surprise her vary much. With the fog she slowed her pace drawing her eyes to the ground and being careful with each step. She hadn't been here before so with this fog she would need to be careful. Vary slow and vary calculated steps working her way slowly. Though the fog was hiding her paws which didn't really help her situation.
She bumped into a log and stopped muttering to herself before trying to go left, then right. It was extremely long so she decided to try and take a risk. Backing up she got a little running start and leaped over the log, her front paws landing on solid ground, but her back paws landed in a warm and sticky mess. She could feel the warmth of the tar pit hitting just behind her rib cage telling her that she was literally half way in the pit. She had never experienced these things, but after a few attempts of trying to pull her paws out and only sinking further into the pit she stopped and remained still. 'Oh Shoot!!'
She was a bit far away to clearly hear the cries of the other or to even recognize who it was.
