Brandr cheered inwardly as Caelestis tackled the turkey, her jaws connecting with it's lower neck. A good hold but not a killing bite and that could be dangerous. He saw the turkey's head dive as if in slow motion, the beak heading for the girl but with a burst of speed is he seized the creature's head in his jaws and with a violent thrashing of his head he snapped it's neck. Almost instantly the bird went limp. Brandr opened his jaws and let it fall to the ground as the other turkey's took off into the air and across the ground, scattering at a speed he never would've guess they were capable of. Panting he turned to the girl with a grin. "Good work Caelestis! If you hadn't blocked the turkey I might not have been fast enough to catch him before he got airborne.
