Once he had done a few rounds at the border and notified someone in the pack he had decided to take a bit of time away. His heart was still heavy with the disappearance of Stardust. He was ill with the fact something horrible may have happened to her. Despite his efforts he was never able to find her trail and it was like she disappeared into thin air. It made him vary uneasy and he had even found himself unable to sleep in their den. So he needed to get away and to hopefully clear his mind, he had a job to do and right now he needed to put that first in his life. He was growing older and he was still unable to just sit around and do nothing.

His long legs carried him across the sands, his movements remaining fairly swift for his age. His nose was in the air testing for scents on the wind, looking for a potential hunt. Hunting always seemed to be something to get his mind off things and he felt that it would hopefully make him feel better. The scent of goat was on the wind and when his nose caught it a small grin appeared on his face. It was fresh and it was strong telling him that there should be plenty to pick from. He quietly ambled in the direction until the figures came into view on top of a sand dune. He crouched down slowly and watched them, eyes looking over every goat he could physically see. He then looked out further to see if any other goats were around, but instead he spied another wolf to his left looking at the same goat herd.

Would the other be up for a joint hunt? It wouldn't hurt to see at least. He slunk in that direction, keeping quiet so that he wouldn't spook the herd. They were to close for him to let the other know of his presence so Frost would just have to wait until he was up beside the other. It took him a couple of minutes because he would stop each time one of the goats looked in his direction, not wanting to be spotted so easily. When he finally made it to the other male a sense of familiarity struck him, but he pushed it aside, wanting to focus on the hunt.

"You up for a joint effort to split the prize," he asked, his deep vocals low as his eyes focused on the herd.
