One Fish, Two Fish
When they began their walk, the bird that had helped Xander catch fish began to hover over head. Serene didn't mind, she was friendly with all forms of life, when she wasn't hungry. Thankfully she wasn't, and she paid little mind to the creature until it decided to land upon her shoulder. Shocked, the sandy woman flinched upon instinct, but her fur settled when she realized it was not attacking her. She listened to their bickering and chuckled a bit, finding it odd that an owl could not make it's signature sound, but paid little mind to it.
When the large male slowed his pace, she turned her head to peer at him, a little confused. When he offered to teach her how to hunt the slippery fish, her face lit up with a smile. "Would you really? That would be amazing!" She cheered, quickly hopping over to the river edge to search for some easy prey. She was so excited, just like a young pup on it's first hunting trip, or first time gathering herbs. If she could learn how to fish, it would help her indefinitely.
