He had taught himself something new, the art of pit traps. It was a good way to catch smaller prey and so far he was having success with it. He would dig a deep hole then cover it with a layer of sticks and then grass. When the animal stepped on the twigs they would snap and the animal would go into the hole. He was checking some of his traps this morning when he came across one that was tripped he grinned. Tail wagging he approached, but as he got closer the god awful squealing of a boar piglet sliced through the air. His ears flattened and his lip curled in disgust. Quickly he moved over to the hole, bent down and snatched up the screaming piglet before quickly ending it's life.

Once the air held silence once again his ears picked up the distant call of his niece, calling forth an opponent to spar with. It was the newer member to the pack, Amos. He was curious, wondering how the young girl's training had been going. He knew Regulus had been working hard with her and Lais wanted to see how she was doing. Picking up his prize to carry with him he would have to come back later to reset the trap. Carrying the pig with him he picked up his pace wanting to arrive in a timely matter.

He arrived shortly after Regulus had settled, making a wide half circle around the two that were sparring, he did not want to disturb them at all. Moving over to Paladin and his brother he sat down on the other side of Regulus and set the pig down at his feet, motioning to both him and Paladin to help themselves if they were hungry. He then turned his eyes back to the spar.
