Never Feed Him After Midnight

High up in the boughs of a magnificent pine tree drowsed the world's laziest burglar. The night had been long and hard - most of it spent eating, which was absolutely exhausting work - and now, long after the sun had risen, Casanova wanted to do nothing more than sleep. His belly was full, his eyelids were heavy, and the sunbeams that streamed through the branches were pleasantly warm. He lay stretched out on a branch with all four limbs and his big puffy tail hanging down. His head was propped up on a knob in the bark. A persistent breeze kept the pine in a constant and comforting sway. It was like being rocked to sleep by Mother Nature herself. An itch on one of his forelegs roused him. Sleepily he raised his other foreleg to chase the itch down, and once it was gone he let the limb drop again. Ahhh, it was gonna be a great day... |
Armando has a female tufted titmouse companion. It doesn't have a name because it's dumb and doesn't deserve one. Assume it's with him always.
