He hadn't become aware of the female yet, being upwind from her and his focus on picking up tracks and scent trails left him fairly preoccupied. His satchel was with him again today, slung across his body in case he would find anything he needed. He still had a lot of herbs to collect, but with the lack of knowledge it was hard for him to collect them without a skilled healer around. He wished that Serene had stuck around, but he knew the feeling of a traveler's soul and didn't blame her for going out to explore.
His ears perked as the other wolf called out to him, his attention pulling away from his current task. Raising his head his bright blue eyes landed on the earth toned female. She was bigger then him, but she still held the delicate features of a female. His tail wagged at the offer as his eyes landed on her strange mane, something he had not seen before. He didn't stare to long, not wanting to offend her or be rude. His eyes then looked to hers and he smiled a friendly smile.
"Just trailing prey and exploring. Are you familiar with this place?" he asked.
If she was familiar maybe she could show him around. If not maybe they could explore together?
