Never Feed Him After Midnight

Something shifted on the branch near him and No Face fluttered, head snapping in the direction of the Red Panda as large golden eyes settled on him. Had it been a bat, or smaller creature, the hawk might have been more interested… but those were nocturnal creatures, and thus the little snacks were tucked away for the day. His gaze followed the poor creature as it fell, though he didn’t move towards it, noting that it was possibly his presence in the first place that startled the other. “Greetings. Don’t worry, I’m not here to cause you harm, and Philomena wouldn’t harm a small cute thing like you.” No Face chuckled softly.

“Right, my lady?”

Philomena’s gaze was upon the small fuzzy creature, his tone of voice rather pleasing to the ears. “Unless of course No Face decides to be a butthead and insult you. He’s not always so nice... But I’m sure you’re stronger than that to break to just words.” A smile touched Philly’s face. “Anyway, that’s No Face, or Nobody as he also likes to be called. I’m Philomena. Do you live here, sir?” If so maybe she had found a guide around the place… if she could find something to offer in return.
