Among The Lilacs and Lilies

Thier time had come to an end even though he wished that they had more time. He would see her again, they had made plans for that, but he knew that time wouldn’t come fast enough. She was his first blossoming relationship in this new land and he didn’t want to let go that easily. Being the gentleman he was he wouldn’t try to convince her to stay, he knew the feeling of needing to travel and to explore. Something that would never be satisfied unless you actually went out and done it.

He smiled wagging his tail as she spoke, bidding him farewell for now. He dipped his head.

“Until we meet again Serene,” he replied back before watching her turn away to leave.

For a little while he sat there mulling over there interaction today. He also mulled over what he could do to make her mother’s grave honored and more of a sacred place then just another tree in the woods. He had a lot of work to do, but the optimism she showed today only fueled his ambitions of creating his pack and bringing life to his dream. Finally he stood and turned in the direction of the weeping woods. Then he left the area with his bag full of fresh picked herbs
