Craving something a little bit different Ashiel made his way north to the Battlefields of Boreas. He figured while he was wandering outside of Auster he may as well look in on the battle skills of the northern wolves and perhaps get a workout in himself. So far he failed to run across any suitable adversaries or even any entertaining ones though there had been an old man of about ten years old that insisted he could whoop him. Ashiel had made short work of that nuisance and went on his way. Griff had been soaring above him to keep an eye out but when the bird grew tired Ashiel had offered to let his companion sleep upon his back. It was a delicate operation to say the least. The birds talons dug painfully into his skin and he found he had to move carefully so as not to wake the other. Not to mention the bird was heavier than he expected. |
