He was focused on drinking water. He was startled when he heard Frost's voice, his body jolting with surprise as his head quickly rose. Water dripped from his muzzle, the male nearly choking on water as he struggled to swallow it. How embarrassing! Oh well, his fault for not paying attention. Once he managed to swallow the water, he turned to Frost and dipped his head in greeting. "Good morning Frost. Sorry, I didn't see you there," He offered a weak smile, tail wagging but it was relatively weak as if the breeze was moving it. He wasn't sure what to say. He didn't want to be all depressing or anything, but it was all he knew for a long time now. "Uh, how are you?" A weak attempt at starting a conversation, but it was a start at least.
