After what felt like months of begging, Jupiter had finally convinced Amadeus to let him go to the battlefield. The whole way there the macaque did his best to convince him to turn around and go home, but Jupiter was determined. He needed to do it. If he was going to be the best fighter ever he needed to actually fight someone.

Confidently he scanned the battlefield for an opponent. His gaze landed on Ashiel and immediately he lit up. "Ashiel!" He trotted over to the older boy. Seeing his friend there instilled him with a confidence he probably should have checked at the border, but naivety was a powerful narcotic. Knowing he was in good company - knowing that Ashiel was probably here for the same reason - made him feel big and bad. "Are you looking for someone to spar with?"
