What are you going to do now?

Telling Storm about everything that had happened in his past, and what the reasoning was behind the evils he'd committed that night, really had him... thinking. Thinking a lot more than he had for quite some time, about.. their origins. Seeing his brother made him remember the early days of their youth, the morning training sessions that they'd had with their father and Ace's mother, Spirit. The two of them taught him everything he needed to know about self-defense and had molded him into a young man able to hold his own by the time he was just four months old. They inspired not only him but many of he and his siblings to do their best and keep their bodies strong.
He'd so easily taken down Kane that day that he ran for him, on their way back to Lirim. Kane was just as tall as Elias was now with even more potential of strength hidden in those muscles- and yet the boy didn't have a clue how to use them. If he had the training that Elias' had in his youth... what were the possibilities? Kane was packless now, and there were more of his children out there suffering the same fate.. suffering it without any sort of training. Were any of them dead? By the looks of Kane, he was surprised he wasn't.
He needed to find his brother, needed to talk... about things. But, not before delivering on a promise. A promise that nearly brought a grin to his face, and there wasn't much that could accomplish just that. He had left the man at the Oasis, and with as much stealth as the darker wolf could manage in the Western desert. The fact that it was night aided his efforts, but there was a gentle breeze working against him- coming in over the dunes behind him and sweeping down toward the lake of the Oasis. The overcast clouds rolling above hid the light of the moon, helping him remain less likely to be seen.. but that breeze would be his downfall.
He searched for any sign of Ace in the sand, searched for any scent on the sparsely grown in foliage surrounding the lake. Nothing so far, but that didn't mean that he wasn't here...
