Ashiel continued in his journey, moving carefully. He took it as a challenge of muscle control, to move smoothly while balancing the bird on his back and minimizing the effect of the talons on his flesh. He was settling into a good rhythm when a familiar voice suddenly shouted out his name. The sudden sound startled Griff whose talons seized into Ashiel's flesh for a second before the bird took off into the air. He turned to see the familiar form of Jupiter trotting toward him. He smiled at the boy who seemed to be growing quite well. Ashiel dipped his head in greeting. "Jupiter! It is good to see you looking well. Yes, actually. I'm looking to continue improving my skills in battle. What of you? Are you doing the same?" |
