She listened to him, surprised to find out that Dragon was also blinded in the raid. He had led all the way up until a challenger beat him in a fight. In a way that gave her hope, hope to be able to become more worthy of being in another pack. Maybe she could really learn to do something productive again, learn how to live and thrive without her sight. She wondered how Dragon did it, how he managed to stay so strong with such a crippling disability. He continued on explaining more about Dragon and how he had been helpful and being a fair man. Regulus' words crept into her mind again, but she quickly shoved them back. She was starting new, no more focusing on what had happened in Celestial. No more fallowing the feelings and words of Regulus. She was making her own decisions now, and everyone had a clean slate with her. She was curious, wanting to meet Dragon and at the same time wanting to stay with Greed.
The short times she had spent with him made his company enjoyable and left her craving more. He was different from anyone she had met before and there was something about him that drew her in, especially now that he was being so kind and thoughtful of her. She felt there was so much more to learn about Greed and she wanted to learn all she could. He wasn't doing it on purpose, but there was a magnetic pull that was hard for her to ignore and she didn't want to leave him simply walk away again. She nodded in an understanding way as he finished talking and her features softened as she relaxed more. She was going to meet this Dragon and see for herself if she got the same vibe as Greed did. If Greed could trust him after all that happened to him in his life, then it should be easy for her to feel he was trustworthy.
"If you wouldn't mind..... I'd like to go with you and meet Dragon, maybe he would be able to further help me out. With your training and his experience I can hopefully learn to thrive again," she said.
She didn't want him to know it was mostly because she wanted to stay with him, she felt like it was to soon to let that cat out of the bag.
