ooc: you can skip me for most of the hunting portion. I may post with Dómari if I get some inspiration but otherwise carry on mighty hunters!
Dómari was relieved it wasn't any sort of emergency but rather an opportunity. He was more of a scavenger than a hunter having spent much of his life living on his own and wasn't sure he was suited for this task but weakened prey would be easier.
He swiftly followed the other mail toward the oasis as he discussed hunting plans. Dómari felt relief at being assigned to be a lookout. That was more his speed and the blood and sounds of distress were bound to attract other predators. With autumn winding down and winter closing in there was always chance a wandering bear would see the ram as an easy means to fill his belly for hibernation.
He listened to Aurielle's question with interest but he'd already spied is spot. "Mask, I'll take the lookout position on the southern most rocks at the mouth of the oasis. I should be able to get a good vantage of anything coming in." With a nod of his head he moved to get into position. They didn't have time to waste. Climbing confidently up the rocks he settled into position on a worn boulder, eyes peeled for any other scavengers entering in through the mouth of the oasis.
That Sea is just a Gambler at Heart
