"I thought maybe I would feel differently after they were born. That I would feel what our father felt when he had us." She shrugged. Her father had always been devoted to his children, even if he was the bad guy in the eyes of many, he never was in the eyes of his kids. "Evidently I didn't inherit his love and devotion." She muttered, blue gaze hard as she continued to stare out over the knolls. Why did he even care? They weren't his. They were just little leeches that whined and got in the way. She didn't ask for them either, but here she was. Planning what the hell to do with them. "Why do you care so much anyway? They have no benefit to us. We have no empire. No need for soldiers. Unless you plan on finishing what he started, am I right or am I wrong?"
