Ara's arrival at the borders of Lirim truly was a long time coming. She and Athena had been wandering for quite some time now - perhaps a year or two, though she couldn't be quite sure on the exact time frame - and Ara was ready to settle down more permanently. Not that wanderlust wouldn't always be part of her soul; no, she'd always been prone to wandering to some extend, but she was ready to have a place to come home to at the end of the day again. She hoped this place might be it.
Judging from the landscape, she could certainly get used to living here. She was more familiar with the lands to the east, claimed once by the Kingdom of Seracia back when she was a child, but now her eyes couldn't stop looking at the low-reaching branches of the willows in the distance. She'd always been fond of willow trees, and that was probably putting it too lightly. Maybe this was a sign that this place would work out in the end...
Ara spent a fair while paused at the borders, observing the landscape from afar. Finally, though, she decided delaying wouldn't help her any, and she tipped her head back to the sky to call for any leaders that might be lingering nearby to see if this place would be a suitable home - if they'd have her and Athena, of course.
