How long has it been since she lost her family? Dove has been living on the range for a few days now. She was beyond hungry and beyond tired. She could feel her body weight becoming heavier and heavier by the day as she looked for anyone. Her mother, her father, maybe even one of her siblings at least for her to be with them and be safe for the cold weather coming.
Dove felt the chill in her bones, which is why she hasn't been able to sleep most nights. Used to a warm makeshift den to sleep in she found herself struggling to keep herself alive. While she drank her weight in water she needed something solid to eat soon. She walked out of the barn to greet the day and see if there was something new out in these fields.
Dove walked around barely, barely blinking her eyes as the sun beat down on her small frame. Her white fur among the greenery made her a easy target to see from afar.
