I'm a little stronger now

After escaping the briars, the nearly two year old wolf found himself gazing out at a welcome sight; a vast expanse of grass. The stars twinkled overhead and Amos sighed and felt the trapped sensation he'd had in those dumb briars melt away. He wasn't claustrophobic, but anyone who spent a day in that mess would be relieved to get out! Wandering for a while, Amos stopped when he came to a rather shallow creek. After drinking enough to quench his thirst, he'd settle himself down on the bank, stretching out his weary limbs and enjoying the moment of relaxation.

Overhead he could just barely hear Fade flapping through the air, doing whatever Fade did. When the bat landed beside him with a mouthful of fruit Amos raised a brow and asked incredulously, "Where on earth did you manage to find that?"
