Light It On Fire

A couple of days worth of island hopping had landed him at this shore. The further he got from the southern continent the colder the water got and by the time he climbed onto the marshy shore he was shivering with his completely soaked coat. For someone that really didn't even like to be in a cold climate this was basically his worst nightmare. The only thing he could think of was being caught in a blizzard. There were some spots further inland that he saw where some snow had gathered, but at least it wasn't currently snowing. He was quick to give himself a good shake as soon as he was on mostly dry land, sending a spray of water out around him.
He grumpily walked further up the shore to escape the water, finding a piece of firm land that was in direct sunlight so his now spiked up flame colored fur could dry out. He wasn't entirely sure why he felt like coming back up to Boreas, especially considering that it was now winter, but something just pulled him back this direction. Maybe it was just in hopes of running into his sisters or his father again. He'd really like to find Echo again as well. Some part of him felt that he'd have a better chance of finding Echo than he would his family, but he tried not to dwell on it too much. Maybe one day he'd figure out a way to get them all together again, but for now all he could do was focus on not freezing to death.
