"How are you both?" he questioned in the same airy tone. However, his face belied the strain in his head. Something must have happened. Wary, she gave him a quick once over. "We're fine, father. Why?" Her rough vocals were hesitant. "Its over now Sathanus. He destroyed the last thing he will ever again touch. Abba has parished to my paw, his crimes had become too great." An impossible weight lifted off of her shoulders at the same time as the breath in her chest was knocked out. The world spun around her. He was finally dead? "Micah is no longer on this plane either, likely the same may of befallen Forfax. Abba took Micah's life, threatened Uriel, Gabriel and all of you. I could no longer sit by and hope his view of any of you would change." Everything was still wrapped in the haze of enlightenment. One of the weird runts was dead? What the fuck was wrong with the world? Carmine gaze was dragged away from her feet, to her father's eyes. He looked wrecked. "Where is his head?" She asked, eerily calm voiced. "I want to see it. I want proof." Monsters and gods didn't die like the rest. They found ways to put themselves back together with hasty stitches and dark oaths. She needed to see his lifeless eyes, and spit in them.
