I Don't Care About The In-Crowd
Home was a land of ice and snow. Pelt thickened by the change of seasons, the young shaman wasn't too bothered by the biting wind or falling snow. Instead, the urge to wander nagged. Knowing everyone was safely holed up in the area, Divo opted to take a walk. Mismatched gaze roved over the landscape, drinking it all in. The snow crunched softly with each step, travelling only a short distance each time. A low hum, a tune with no rhythm, slipped from betwixt pallid jaws. Ever since meeting the strange girl, Argus, things had been different. Each night, Divo had laid awake and felt sick. How would mama and Da react? Their daughter didn't feel right. Knowing that one didn't have to be male or female was a revelation, and it had struck home. Why, though? Why couldn't things be easy, and they could be a girl like their sisters? It was torture. Instead of being mama's sweet daughter, Divo was simply.. nothing. Just Divo. A pale, ebony marked form caught their eye. Drew them from their internal struggle. It had been some time since they had seen Leviathan, since he and Mammon spent so much time away from the family. Come to think of it, it had been a very long time. Seasons, for sure. As they drew closer, a glaring reality made itself known. Leviathan wasn't nearly as big as they had believed him to be. As a pup, he had been enormous. Now? The male was built like a brick shithouse, but he was the same size as Dom! It was so strange. "Leviathan!" They called out, picking up the pace to join up with him.
