Escaping the Reality

The young man would grin and laugh, "I like your optimism!" Not that Amos himself wasn't sort of optimistic, he just had an inkling that the cold would kinda suck. Maybe growing up was just taking that sunshine and rainbows mentality little by little. Depressing thought, but he couldn't complain too much. A certain amount of realism kept one alive.
Amos sat back, relaxing a little as he started to settle into the conversation. Frost seemed like a pretty nice guy, easy to get along with at least. Chatting with him was at the very least pretty enjoyable, which was more than he could say for some. "It's certainly an upgrade from being starved for a good conversation. An' it's good to hear your pack's doing well! Say, I'm curious, you ever belonged to one before the one now?" Amos still didn't know many of the other packs of Boreas, and definitely none from lands beyond. He had a sudden spark of curiosity driving him to want to know more, though. Especially if there were others that were very different from Celestial. It might be fun to go out of his way to learn a bit about some of their neighbors.
