From the borders of the willows to the center of the valley, this is where she had found herself. She still wasn't sure what to do other than patrolling the borders, or at least act like she was. Nothing much happened around Lirim, and with the numbers they had, she was pretty certain the borders had been patrolled several times over. She had smelled her father's scent recently passing around the borders and knew he had patrolled just shortly before she did. She raised her head and looked around, trying to figure out what to do next. Winter was ending, and with it, the strange feelings she got for the second time when winter had come around. Maybe that was making her feel so...down. She never really asked her dad about it, and her mother wasn't around to ask. So she kept quiet about it, not really bothering anyone else with the burning question about the burning feeling that plagued her all winter.
After a moment of thought, she decided she would continue across the valley and head to the other side to patrol some more. |
