The gaping jaws that suddenly shot out of the vines surprised him. Out of instinct Malleus jerked back out of the vines and it was a good thing he did because the boy's teeth scraped his lips and while they didn't find purchase, they left little welts in their wake. Stunned, Malleus stood still for just a moment before he made up his mind and pounced into the bushes with a snarl. The boy's actions were unacceptable and he needed to be taught a lesson. Little boys could be nosy and mean, and Malleus was content in most cases to let them be children, but there were boundaries that he would not let any pack member cross. A little lesson today would hopefully inject the boy with a little respect for his superiors. He wasn't really mad, but he wanted the boy to think he was in real trouble. A little fear would go along way. Malleus sought to slam both of his forepaws down on the boy and pin him. He wasn't trying for any real damage, but he wouldn't feel bad if he knocked the wind out of Kefka. He'd gotten more than his fair share of licks as a child. It was only right that as an adult he dished as many out as he'd taken. |
