telltale heart
"SNEAK ATTACK!" a high pitched voice cried from seemingly nowhere. An unflattering shriek of surprise erupted from his tiny jaws. He whirled around, catching sight of his brother tumbling headlong towards him. Amethyst fur and pale limbs, far too close to get away. Squeezing his eyes shut, the mahogany boy could only brace for the impact. Tucking his tail between his legs, he found himself hoping that he didn't break anything when Kefka hit him. WHUMP! The breath was knocked out of him when the two collided. They didn't roll very far. Dark and pale legs tangled up, with Kefka firmly pinning him to the ground. It took a second to suck some air in. A wheezing cry of indignation was the best he could muster. "Get off me!" he snapped, scowling at his brother's chest. Kefka was bigger than him right now, putting on far more weight than he had been. Thus, the air wasn't getting into his lungs very well. "No fair!" he added, in regard to the attack. Wriggling his forelegs out from where Kefka was crushing them between their bodies, he shoved at the other boy's belly. "Don't make me bite you!" the sour mood was obvious in his squeaky little voice. This was humiliating! After calling someone to make him a better fighter, he gets smushed by his twin brother. |
