I’m The One Who Caves Under Pressure

Since his last meeting with Aranea, winter had brought some potential. A few more faces met and some more wolves to tell his plans to. No one was sole set on joining him, but he was getting the word out which was better then he had been doing. He wasn't letting anything discourage him and was still set on making his dream come true. The only thing that was bringing him down was the loneliness that plagued the social creature. It was a real struggle for him considering his upbringing was surrounded by a bunch of other wolves. But he was making it through and Spring was just around the corner.
He was taking a look at his herb stocks today, ridding them of completely dead and useless herbs and getting a count of what was left over. He would need to get back to collecting once spring hit, refresh his stock and hope that they become useful. He was even thinking that maybe he should start trading with packs despite the fact he did not have a pack. It was a better way to get the word out, but why would a pack wolf join him? By now he had also given up on the thought that Serene would ever come back from her exploration, one wolf he had been sure would stick by him.
He was on his way out of the storage den when the low call for him came from towards the border of the territory. He grinned as he dropped the mouthful of dead herbs and took off at a trot to greet who was calling him. It took him a few minutes to reach her and when he did he smiled. He wasn't expecting her to travel back so soon, but he was glad to see his friend from the beginning of winter. His tail wagged as he closed in leaving a respectable distance.
