Shine Bright Like A Diamond

Ferrous was headed back to the ship after a long day on the prowl. The sun was setting and the sky overhead was awash in rich oranges, pinks and purples. It was quite beautiful, but it didn't hold a candle to the scene below. As Ferrous exited a stand of trees she became aware of a soft glow emanating from the chasm up ahead. It piqued her curiosity so she picked up the pace and was soon at the edge of the dry riverbed. "Whoa," she breathed. She'd been in Niente for a few months now; how had she never seen this before? The smooth white stone reflected the sunset and gave the whole riverbed an unearthly glow. It was breathtaking. Ferrous climbed eagerly down into the riverbed. The sun would set fully soon and she would be remiss if she didn't surround herself with the unnatural shine. The stone's reflecting ability was not unlike water's, so she was fairly confident that if she stood in the middle of it she too would appear to glow. Perhaps it was a little juvenile, but she couldn't pass that up. |

Ferrous has a saber-toothed snow leopard companion named Zahir. If she isn't
mentioned IC it's safe to assume she isn't there.
