He had spent enough time wallowing in his den and communicating with the spirits. He had become more than convinced of the otherworldly presences lingering on the mountain and now it was time he showed himself to the pack the same way the pack had shown itself to him. Only a priest like himself could communicate with the spirits and act as a conduit for their power, it was his duty to perform his services as they were needed and his goal to shake disbelief from an of those who might doubt their existence.
He threw his head back and with a cry summoned the Apollyon and any others who were curious to see the magic thriving underneath their very paws. Behind him a faint glow illuminated his den. Candles- a mystic art in themselves burned slowly, flickering lightly and illuminating his den in a way no other wolf knew how. The knowledge of how to craft them had been passed from teacher to student for generations until the knowledge finally reached him. He had no doubt the leader would find them impressive, but it would hardly be the only thing he found remarkable.
