Party in the Graveyard

Blood red gaze slowly took in the scenery around her. Not that there was anything of interest if she was honest. She did catch a glimpse of the occasional, far-off figures fighting for whatever reasons they decided to fight for. During her little observations, she heard the faintest of sounds coming towards her. Was someone approaching her? Was that what they did in these kinds of places? Instinctively, her muscles tensed a bit in preparation to move in the event someone tried to attack her, and she purposely kept her attention away from whoever it was and thought perhaps she could do a sneak attack of her own and catch them off guard. But she was mildly surprised when a greeting was carried to her. What? Head slowly turned towards the voice to see a dark-furred male that appeared to be the same size as her. Her gaze drifted over him, seemingly appraising his worth.
When she was done, she gathered that he was in a pack, and most likely had an important role. She had just run from a pack not long ago, so...an alpha? If she was wrong on that, then perhaps another of similar rank. She supposed she might find out. The lands here were still unknown to her. She didn't know anything about the natives or their lands, so she was very much suspicious and wary. Was it customary for others to approach so freely? The only life and customs she ever knew had been with her pack...and there, every approach was different. But none that were like this. She was not used to being greeted. "To you as well, sir." That was something that was said when greetings were returned, she was sure. Or at least, she heard things like that in passing. "Tell me, sir...where am I? What do they call this place?"
