Summer had come and with it a change in the scent of his bride. He knew the change in scent meant she was now no longer a healing and could become pregnant with his children now. He was getting older now and knew his time to gather children was becoming shorter with the seasons.
He moved down the beach, his jaws open as he tasted the salty air. With the air was the scent of Zariah, an intoxicating taste coupled with hers. The moon danced above, with the waves crashing beside him. Noctus had been left at his den, he had plans to track down Azariah. He had told her to hide upon the island tonight, that he wanted to hunt her. He had assured her though that the only pain she would receive would be from him showing her his affections when he caught her. He wanted to make this night interesting. If he had his way, his gift would be implanted within her womb by the morning. His gift would be his spawn, and he would be more amused by watching her figure out his gift than she would be. A tiny bit of cruelty from him but she had agreed to be his bitch and as his bitch it meant birthing as many litters as she could with him.
