Rise
Zell watched as the younger male set his defenses, so he followed suit. His hackles rose along his spine, tail flagging out to act as a rudder for balance while his head lowered over his throat and chin tucking, aligning with his spine in the process. He rolled his shoulders forward to protect the sides of his neck, scruff bunching forward to protect him with fur and fat. Ears pinned tightly against his head while he narrowed his eyes. Adopting an even stance with legs spread hip and shoulder width apart for stable balance, he dug his claws into the earth and spread his toes for better tractions. He rolled his neck to loosen up some of the muscles, the male striving to keep himself fluid for better ease of movement. They were about eight feet apart, and Zell watched every move that Eldi made.
Finally, Eldi came towards him. Likewise, Zell kicked off and sought to meet Eldi head on, and when Eldi shifted to the left, Zell matched his movements by shifting to his own right. He sought to align them head to head and directly in front of each other, to keep Eldi in front of him as much as possible. Kicking off with all the power and force he could muster, he aimed to smash the entirety of his chest straight into the center of Eldi's chest in the hopes of forcing the boy back on top of causing mass bruising. Jutting the point of his left shoulder forward, Zell then sought to lance it forward and up in an attempt to smash it into the lower part and directly in the center of Eldi's throat in the hopes of choking the younger male and render him breathless. As a result, Eldi's left shoulder would strike Zell on the center right side of his chest; which in turned caused moderate bruising as he braced for it.
Eyes flashed then as he saw the boys fangs coming towards his face, so Zell opened his own jaws wide while pulling his head back. He aimed to bring his upper fangs over the bridge of Eldi's muzzle just behind his nose, and lower fangs sought to pierce and grip the delicate organ [counter]. Hopefully, that would stop his opponent in his tracks. He had, however, failed to completely move his own foot in time. Eldi's left paw came down on Zell's right forepaw, moderately bruising his toes. However, Zell would use this opportunity to stabilize his weight on his right forepaw and his hind legs as he brought up his left forepaw and aimed to drive it down and stomp on Eldi's right forepaw. His goal was to bruise or sprain the toes there, if not potentially fracture one or two of them in the process.
