Intruder Alert

There was a moment after the call rang out that Amaris felt her heart skip a beat while her brain worked overtime trying to make sense of the situation. Her father called for help... taking down an intruder? Never before had the pups been entrusted with such an important task. Was this a test? A test to see their skill and judge their worth? The thought alone was enough to send adrenaline to her tiny muscles, which in turn had her paws gripping the dirt between her toes as she ripped across the earth in a mad fury. Small legs stretched out to fly across the territory, her blue optics zeroed in on every obstacle in her way; her family needed her, and it drove the young Abraxas harder than anything before. When Amaris came bursting through the underbrush, she stumbled onto a quite the scene that was both comical and terrifying.

All of her siblings clung to the obvious intruder; her strange markings and outsider scent did not help her at all. Everyone was working together as a unit, though it was quite comical seeing Felicity dangling from the woman's tail, what wasn't funny was there was no dad in the middle of it. Had the intruder already injured him? Or worse? A hot boiling rage consumed the young girl, which resulted in an inaudible battle cry being unleashed from her tiny vocal cords as she leaped into action. Tiny fawn child targeted the last available leg; her head tilted to the side so she could better chomp down on the woman's vulnerable ankle joint, tiny puppy teeth poised like daggers. Amaris had chewed on her fair share of bones in the past, but this time she had malicious intent behind her grinding. Her fiercest growls mumbled by the flesh in between her teeth, the girl would yank her head back and forth to try and worsen the damage as much as she could.
