Chasing Ghosts
Amaris Abraxas
When she finally heard Felicity's voice coming from behind her, a bit more clearly than she had before, the young fawn child let out a sigh. Her sister's comment however, made her huff out in response. "No kidding, just help me out of here Fel!" Her voice was irritated and whining at the same time, her emotions all over the place due to the traumatic experience. For sure, Amaris would suffer from a fear of small dark places for the next... foreseeable future. Hearing her sister's plan, Amaris prepared herself for the biggest stretch of her life. "Ow! Easy Fel!" She yipped, feeling her sister's sharp puppy teeth grabbing hold of her tail. Yup. This was most definitely going to hurt.
She let out a shaky breath, before nodding to herself. "Okay, I'm ready." Forepaws braced themselves against the inside of the tree, ready to push with all the might a small pup could muster. "One... two... three!" She would push as hard as she could against the inside of the tree, eyes clamped shut as she sucked in her pot belly of a stomach to hopefully make the extraction as easy as possible. The foot her sister had between her paws extended in the most uncomfortable fashion, and her tail was yank so hard she could have called out in pain, but she didn't. After a few, strenuous seconds of pulling and pushing, there was a sudden 'pop' before Amaris found herself laying on top of her dearest sister, and not the tree. Relief flooded her emotions as a wide smile spread across her face; "Ha... ha! I'm free! We did it! We did it Fel!"
