Cael snorted at the girl's reply, using it as an excuse to get irritable. Maybe she was stupid for starting shit with someone she didn't know. Her mom would have been pissed. But Caelum wasn't here anymore, and Cael didn't know what else to do with her pent up emotion but sulk in her misery - which hadn't really been helping - or do what she was doing now. Start a fight for the hell of it. Hell if she knew why that was her gut reaction, but grief was a funny thing and she wasn't really in the mood to ask questions.

Is it cause you don't know what they're like, or is it because you're just as bad as the Abraxas? Either way, good riddance." Yeah, there was no stopping her now. The words just kept rolling off her tongue and before she knew it she was stepping back a half step to give herself room, shifting her posture closer to a fighting stance and curling her lip. No matter what she said, Cael still sort of liked Archon, but there was so much complicating things that she couldn't help but spout off some of the crap that caused her such frustration. Honestly, why'd he have to be fun? Why couldn't he be awful and murderous?
