He wished not to think too hard on the time spent as a slave. The vile tasks he had been set to, the cruel punishments sought out when he failed.. Or succeeded. He mentally shook the thoughts, he had to focus on revenge for what had happened instead of thoughts of what had happened. Shaye made that easier on him as he observed the determination within her eyes. She felt the injustice just as he had lived it. She loved Rhythm as he did, she wanted justice as much as he did. The slave trade was more than cruel and Rhyme was determined to end at least one sect of heathens.
