I'd Wanna Be Me Too

Jupiter snorted derisively and shook his head to chase away the melancholy. He was being ridiculous. This mopey woe-is-me nonsense was for the birds. He shouldn't care. He knew he shouldn't. There were much more important things to think about than the deficiencies of his childhood. For example, where he was going to get his next adrenaline fix. Or finding where all the pretty girls hung out so he could camp out there. Priorities.

"I couldn't help but notice you seem a little...blue..." Upon hearing the woman's voice Jupiter canted his head to the side and cast the woman a sly, side-eyed glance. The corners of his mouth rose slightly in an amused smirk. "Blue," he said with an easy laugh, "Is what I do best."

The glance out of the corner of his eye didn't let him get a good look at the girl so he turned to face her. His expectations were high as he did so; her voice was pretty and he hoped the rest of her matched.

Jupiter was not disappointed and upon realizing that a pretty girl had graced him with her presence, his amused smirk turned into an easy smile. "Although," he said cheekily, studying her so she'd know without a shadow of a doubt he was talking about her, "Now I'm not feeling quite so blue anymore."
