Honestly she probably should have counted herself lucky that she had her vision and most of her body pretty well intact after starting shit with that stupid abraxas-loving woman. Granted, Caelestis didn't feel nearly as bad about the whole thing as she maybe should have. Mh... Yeah she didn't regret it at all, really. It was still stupid of her and she knew that but- whatever, she didn't need to explain herself.

In a huff she'd left the territory after receiving the absolute bare minimum in wound care for the nasty cut across her face that was almost certainly going to turn into a scar. Not that she cared. In fact, Cael was pretty sure she'd look cool as heck with a scar. Maybe she would say she slayed a rabid beast and got the scar in the intense battle. That sounded pretty awesome.

Lounging beneath the willows was as close as Caelestis was prepared to get to visiting the site of her mothers death. That particular wound was fresher than the one across her face, which was why she'd needed to escape again. It had rained briefly that morning, the grass was still a bit damp and although it made rolling about on the ground a little less pleasant, Caelestis was happy to have a break from the summer weather. Glancing into a puddle by her paws, she heaved a sigh. It felt like a slow day today. She hated slow, boring days. Made it harder to distract herself.
