OOC: set before Day Late, Dollar Short
Circe picked her way across the muddy territory with hawkish care. Her steps were oddly delicate for one so large but she loathed the thought of sinking a paw into the mud and was doing her best to think lightweight thoughts and avoid mud puddles. She wanted to be presentable when she reached her brother. It had rained recently and the air was heavy with the heady scents of the plants that called the falls home. There were a few scents in particular that kept drawing her attention away from the path ahead. She'd abandoned her herb stores when she'd left for the homeland and while there hadn't gathered anything new. Now that she was back Circe was starting fresh and she needed to consider collecting things while the plants were in bloom. That fact made it all the more tempting to collect what she could and find Archon another day. Circe paused with an uncharacteristic huff as mud squelched between the toes of her left forefoot. After raising it she eyed it disdainfully and then set it down on a drier patch of ground. That settled it. She would not be leaving the falls unscathed so why not make the most of her time here, track down some of those useful plants, clean herself up and then go looking for her brother? |
