Raising her nose, Circe snuffed at the air. Off the top of her head she could identify several flowering plants here that would be of use to her. The first and the one that would undoubtedly be the easiest to find was periwinkle. The humble plant's medicinal uses weren't really her speed, but the side effects? Now those she could work with. The right amount would quite literally make whoever ingested them spill their guts. If she paired that with a little talk about purging evil spirits or something along those lines, well...she'd be in business. Circe turned and was about to follow her nose when a large, dark shape glided across her peripheral. She turned back and was rewarded with an eyeful of tall, dark and handsome. My, my, was he a looker! Had the seasons been different he was a boy she'd have pursued immediately with the hopes of adding his better qualities to the Abraxas gene pool, but since she had nothing to gain from it Circe refrained from attempting to jump his bones on the spot. After a moment spent considering how he might do her bloodline some good, Circe tamped down her interest in good breeding and settled on sifting through what she could read from him. He looked like he was after something and appeared to be focused to the point of missing her presence entirely. It was a shame, really, that she was going to have to interrupt him to get his attention, but could one really fault her for finding the chance to talk to such a fine mortal specimen irresistible? "My, don't you look like a man on a mission. I'd hate to be the creature on the other end of that stare," she said with a gentle laugh. |
