Our Future within the Young Eyes
Pegasus entered the valley every bit as regal as a prince, with his head raised and his eyes alert. He briefly dipped his head in respect to Frostbite then took his seat, “Pleasure to see you again, Frostbite.” He greeted, then turned his head and looked over the two that had already arrived, along with the alpha’s mate and children. The red woman in particular was striking with her vivid fur and vibrantly colored eyes, he wondered if she might have been related to Cél, a sister, he suspected, because even with her homely state he could tell she was not much older than himself. He glanced at the male quickly then let his vision return to the pups. The unknown, older male was around the same age as his father, and had an intensity to him that reminded him of his father as well. He felt compelled to speak to him, but would wait until the meeting was over to do so. Thinking of his father reminded him of his mission, and he wondered if Frostbite would give him an opportunity to speak his piece and gain the support of those who might be interested.
His thoughts touched briefly on Célestin and with it came the steady flow of giddiness that always accompanied the thoughts of his friend. He couldn’t help but smile foolishly, then caught one of the pups staring at him with its head cocked, and he let the smile fade. In time he would tell Célestin his plan and he had little doubt that he would want to join him along with Ulric and Roza. "Talk" "Thought" "You" |
