I'm Taking This Loop Off

Valdís had been overcome but a sudden sense of nostalgia and so she'd taken off for Fenrir's Maw. Along the way she planned to do some scouting and to explore the volcano that had been next door to Crew's territory. In the darkness of the warm summer evening she could see the glowing top of the volcano. This was going to be exciting! She'd just reached the base when she'd caught the scent of pack. Bending down to further investigate the smell she realized that it was faded, the markings of a pack that had since dissolved and so she strode boldly toward her destination. It was curious and strange to think a pack had been here not that long ago. Good to know Crew weren't the only wolves crazy enough to live on these mountains.

Climbing with practiced precision, Valdís relied on her muscle memory. It had been awhile since she'd wandered such rocky terrain. Determined to reach the top she kept right on moving. Pausing every so often to watch the wisps of smoke pass across the moon.
