Our Future within the Young Eyes

Star panted as she hurried from the den, over sleeping was awful, but she had been so exhausted it was hard to know what day it was, let alone get any kind of sleep schedule formed. Eira had been waiting for her and now trotted faithfully beside her as she made her way to the meeting that Frost had called. She had heard his howl, but continued to doze if only for a few moments. Now she worried she had slept too long, even though Eira said it hadn't been very long since her father had called for the pack.
Once she arrived at the meeting, she smiled apologetically at Frost and sat beside him. "Sorry, I dozed a little too long." Star sat close to Frost and the children, attempting to keep an eye on them. To the rest of the pack she gave a smiling nod, waving her tail as she took note of the faces present. A point would be made to get to know the ones who weren't familiar to her, though with five children socializing was a bit difficult.
