Our Future within the Young Eyes

She had been far too comfortable with the change in their relationship and now she was beginning to realize her feelings for him. She was enjoying their nap and could feel the light nudge to her shoulder, but she was deep enough that she had not stirred and had remained sleeping. Unaware that she was being watched, but happily napping directly beside him. She could only faintly hear the howling and it hadn't clicked with her. Soon he gently began to rouse her, bringing her back to reality and waking her up. Silver blue eyes fluttered open as his gentle cooing tickled her ear and she lightly sighed, not really wanting to leave their private napping session. She briefly wondered what Uncle would be calling about, but she wouldn't find out until they would get to the meeting. She watched him stretch before smiling and getting to her feet, stretching, and casually fallowing him. She came out of the den and up beside him, smiling at him. Then together they both walked towards the meeting. She felt a little nervous, yet giddy at the same time at the thought of showing up at his side in front of everyone. She tried to refocus her mind on what the meeting may be about and as she glanced over to Torin she could tell that he too was focused. They quietly rolling into the meeting and walked right towards the front where Torin greeted Frost. "Morning Uncle," she greeted with a smile before Torin gently nudged her shoulder again. Her tail gently wagged before she backed off to sit next to Stardust to help if she needed with the pups during the meeting if she needed. |
