Finally, they'd arrived. There was one last thing Circe needed to do before she took Pnuma to see Archon. Something she doubted she'd get his approval on, but alas, she was going to do it anyway. "Alright, Pnuma," she said brightly as she gently shimmied out from under him. "We're almost there, but there's one thing I want to do before we meet up with my brother. I bet your meds are wearing off and you're really feeling that leg now, huh?" She'd been deliberately jostling it for the last half hour or so. Hopefully this would make him more willing to go along with her suggestion. "I thought it might be a good idea to take a break and maybe give you something for the pain." |
