Werewolves of London

Vail continued to pick over the increasingly difficult terrain, the rocks were somewhat loose and Notch was getting too far away to be much help. She grumbled slightly under her breath as he continued on, debating of she could navigate herself or call him back to help her. She was mumbling so much she didn't hear the other wolf approach until the pitiful whine reached her ears. Vail stopped dead in her tracks, ears erect more use detecting the stranger then her eyes. She saw nothing but rocks, but the scent and sound were enough to direct the pale rose she wolf where she needed to be. Curiosity more than anything drove her, she knew lone wolves could be as dangerous as they were friendly. "Who's there?" She called out curiously as her paws stepped forward cautiously.
Notch returned to her shoulder, in case of a fight he wouldn't be much use except as a distraction. She continued to try and see the form of the creature who had approached, and eventually thought she made out a wolf shape in the gray of the rocks. "Are you hurt?" She was able to call out more directly at the stranger this time, still cautious in the presence of one she didn't know.
