Pyrrhic struggled to hide his relief as the older boy agreed to the arrangement he'd proposed. Even though he felt he could manage it, he really didn't want to be alone. He was also quite pleased that he'd successfully salvaged the situation. If the older boy had continued on his way Pyrrhic would have had to wrestle with his pride. Caving and admitting he needed help would have been a blow to his dignity and being left alone? Well, the ways that that could go wrong were too numerous to count. "Good," he said happily as he moved to stand beside Rain in anticipation of "leading" him out of the woods. "To a castle in the north." That was where the new pack was going to be. He was really excited to see it, too. The way his dad had described it made it sound like the best place to live ever. It occurred to him suddenly that he didn't know the older boy's name. "Hey, what's your name? And what are you doing out here, anyway? This is a very dangerous place," he chastised. Unbeknownst to Rain, Pyrrhic was parroting something his father had told him not that long again.
