Bad decision is like, my middle name [Kori]

What was fun without a little danger, anyway? Or - better yet - a metric fuckton of danger? Both things went hand in hand, as far as she considered, and the thought of both things combined into one was quite appealing to the reckless female.
Korinna had wandered back toward Mount Volkan, though she'd decided to steer clear of the place for the most part. She couldn't help but be mildly curious as to who might resurface, though she was sure Tyranis could be easily enough found in these parts if she tried. For now though she had no real intentions of finalizing any plans, instead content with wandering freely and sulking at her own pace. Only when she caught a whiff of burning in the air would her dejected mood brighten. Due to the Maw's vicinity to Mount Volkan, she expected the air to have some kind of sulfuric smell to it, but this was definitely something burning. A much more forward thinking wolf would've probably decided that the reasonable thing to do was to run away from the burning smell, but Korinna had never been particularly apt to plan ahead, and she was intrigued at what might be causing it. Quickening her pace, she headed further up the mountain pass, eager to see what sort of havoc awaited her.
By the time she saw a flicker in the distance that mildly resembled fire, through the foliage of the trees up ahead, she was panting heavily. That'd been more of a climb than she'd thought, despite not being very far at up through the mountain pass. Korinna paused to catch her breathe, squinting to make out the vague silhouette of someone up ahead carrying something that was definitely on fire. Weird, but interesting, and Kori let out a bark as she climbed a bit higher to see the stranger properly. She didn't want to be set on fire herself, so she didn't want to completely startle her, so catching her attention before she got too close to the woman seemed a better idea.
