She felt her elation suddenly disturbed by the call of another wolf, her brilliant sapphire eyes snapped to attention as she searched for the opposing figure in the swirling snow. Across the peak she could see the dark figure, the snow concealing much of the other’s form. Eisleif tilted her head to try and get a better view, but she could only see the figure attempting to move more near. Eisleif’s curiosity was piqued and she felt herself call out again in return. Lifting her head and giving an encouraging howl before making her own way over the treacherous ground. She lost some elevation as her black paws carried her over the frozen ground, though her experienced form had no fear of slipping. Her fur was whipped about in the intense wind, but her thick coat protected her from the chill. The stranger became more clear as she drew more near, slightly taller than herself, with similar striking blue eyes. ”Heil, stranger.” Eisleif called over the wind when she was close enough. The adrenaline of her accomplishment still coursing through her body. |
